My Pride and Prejudice Obsession is Unshakable!

I would say it’s unhealthy, but I think that’s a little extreme. Though, my obsession with Pride & Prejudice IS driving my husband crazy this week. But in all fairness, if my toddler can beg to watch Monsters Inc. every time I turn the tv on, I feel no shame in watching the movie over and over again. Maybe I’ll eventually get sick of it, but so far no luck. It’s gotten to the point I’m ready to pick up the book and read it again.
My husband took Little Bear out yesterday and came back to find me watching the movie again. To be honest, it’s a good movie to have on as background noise. The music is lovely, the conversations are easy to follow when you don’t want to watch it intently, but you can still get wrapped up in the banter and romance between Elizabeth and Darcy. Personally, I think my husband is just jealous of another one of my fictional boyfriends, who visits my dream world often. ♥a6fd3de5f1d09b8353c190880c228a4e

“You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged; but one word from you will silence me on this subject for ever.” -Mr. Darcy

How many times have I watched it this week, or just today? Guess–I’m definitely not admitting anything to you! My book-nerd status has been elevated immensely this week between the movie, quotes, and Jane Austin in general.

Excuse me while I restart the movie…again. ♥

“I love you. Most ardently.”
