Garlic: A Short Story by David Forsyth

26473563My Rating: 5/5 Stars

Short Summary via Goodreads:
When a policeman retires early due to a traumatic experience he looks for the safest place to hide. Will his worst fears follow him to a festival that should be his safe haven? Or will he become his own worst enemy?

My Review: I’ve followed David Forsyth since he released Voyage of the Dead, and I really enjoy everything he writes. He has yet to disappoint me.

This was a fun vampire tale, quick and easy to follow. I kind of guessed halfway through what was going on, but it was still entertaining. If you haven’t read anything by this author, I highly recommend reading this short.Β Follow it up by reading Voyage of the Dead; it’s one of my favorite zombie stories!
