Writing Prompt #7

I know, I missed one yesterday. I’m in the process of packing and cleaning for a trip, with little running around like a nut, so the writing has taken a bit of a backseat this week. I’m still reading, though.

If you could indulge in anything without consequence, what would it be?

Well, obviously I wrote about how I’d be a crazy, cat lady. I mean, can you imagine how many pets I would adopt? No consequences? My husband wouldn’t have an excuse to keep them from overrunning the house, and all the kitties would be safe, happy, and healthy. My toddler would be thrilled.

I was trying to decide between cats, wine, or chocolate, but who says I can’t have it all? I already over indulge in books, but with no consequence, I guess my bank account wouldn’t suffer and I’d end up buying a mansion to accommodate the gigantic library I would need to house them.

Throwback to when Marlowe was little, and as much of a bookworm as I am now:

Writing Prompt #4 & #5

I forgot to post the prompt yesterday–my bad. So, here are both prompts.

#4 Name one thing you wish your cell phone did for you that it currently does not.

I wrote about it projecting holographs and being used as a teleportation device.

#5 Write ten original thoughts that will be stuffed inside fortune cookies for perfect strangers to read.

One of mine: Be like the sleeping cat on your lap, who doesn’t give a fuck.
